Account Executive

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Executive for a full-time on-site position. As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing the daily accounting operations of our assigned properties. Additionally, you will provide support to the Building Executive or Manager by assisting in various accounting tasks crucial to the smooth functioning of our property management operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounting Operations Management: Take ownership of the day-to-day accounting operations of designated properties, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial transactions and record-keeping.
  2. Service Fee Payments Handling: Receive service fee payments from property owners, ensuring timely processing and accurate record-keeping to maintain financial transparency and accountability.
  3. Collaborative Support: Assist the Building Executive or Manager in handling essential accounting tasks, fostering seamless collaboration and contributing to the overall success of property management endeavors.
  4. Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial reports, statements, and analyses, offering valuable insights to aid decision-making processes and ensure fiscal responsibility.
  5. Tenant Relationship Support: Utilize effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with tenants, addressing their accounting-related inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  6. Software Proficiency: Leverage your proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and/or accounting management software to streamline accounting processes, manage data efficiently, and generate accurate reports.
  7. Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements, safeguarding the integrity and transparency of financial operations.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience and Expertise: Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge in accounts management, preferably within the property management or accounting industry, showcasing your ability to navigate complex financial landscapes with confidence.
  2. Organizational Proficiency: Exhibit strong organizational and multitasking skills, enabling you to manage multiple accounting tasks concurrently while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and meeting deadlines consistently.
  3. Interpersonal Excellence: Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to establish and nurture positive relationships with tenants, colleagues, and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  4. Financial Acumen: Showcase experience with operations and financial reporting, illustrating your proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, and your capacity to interpret financial data to drive informed decision-making.
  5. Property Management: Having some experience working in a property management company will be an added advantage.

  • Salary range: RM2,500 – RM2,800
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday (9:00am – 5:30pm), Saturday (9:00am -1:00pm)
